Illuminations

Sessions

I recommend bringing an issue that you would like cleared emotionally and/or physically, and be ready to become empowered with your healing -with compassion for yourself in the present and in the past. This often requires looking at your physical wellbeing and potentially making changes to your lifestyle in terms of diet and exercise. This might also require working on energetic blocks that have been preventing you from making such changes on your own. There, we will assess the energetic imprint causing the block or suffering. Ultimately, the imprint offers a lesson to be gleaned and transformed into wisdom. This is your medicine.

Typically, the shamanic healing process involves an illumination, energetic cord cutting, extractions, and/or a soul retrieval - all of these processes bring your energy back to your core and support integration and energetic coherence. I may assist the process through vibrational sound therapy to facilitate raising vibrational frequencies and clearing energetic blocks. Chakras are cleared and balanced

These sessions can be done remotely over the phone or zoom. It is safe for children. For pregnant persons, we work on the upper chakras only.

You are the composer of your life. Therefore, you may want to focus some time on sacred life coaching, which can entail: cultivating a gratitude practice, cultivating beauty in your daily life, creating sacred ceremony in your life, centering through meditation and/or prayer, journeying, journaling, writing exercises with tarot assistance, connecting with nature, making a sand painting or mandala, and/or performing a despacho ceremony. It facilitates joy to count and to savor our blessings, and experiencing joy is healing, transformational, and honors the sacred.

Background

Shamanism is the oldest form of spirituality on the Earth. It is at least 85,000 years old. Every indigenous tradition has a form of shamanism (although shamanism may be the name given to the practice by white society), and I have trained in the tradition of the Light Body School of Shamanic Energy Medicine with the Four Winds Society and the teachings of Alberto Villoldo. Villoldo trained in the lineage of the Inca through the Laika of the Q’ero people of the High Andes as well as the shamans of the Amazon. In this tradition, shamanic practitioners are Earthkeepers, honoring and caring for Mother Earth, Pachamama, and all of her children. A servant’s heart led me to follow many paths that ultimately landed me here, where the Divinity of Nature is interconnected with the Divinity of humans.

Shamans are called “wounded healers” because we experience compassion for all of life through our own winding journey of suffering and healing, gleaning lessons as we heal that open more and more compassion for the suffering of others. Therefore, each practitioner has unique medicine. My spiritual journey began early in life, stalled for a bit as I searched for community and personal healing on various paths (from sorority president to professor) and reawakened as I found the courage to pursue my inner healing and the healing of our Earth.

This practice continually reminds me that the trees sing, the stones sing, the waters sing, the wind of the clouds sing, and the ancestors sing. Life is music. All things have their rhythm. The world is sound.
